U.S.Flag   Oma Ray Justus, the youngest of five sons, was born April 24, 1927 and he passed on to the next world on April 24, 2006, his 79th birthday.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Charlie Thomas and Liddie (Ray) Justus and three of his older brothers, Odell, Otis and Aaron Justus.

Oma Ray is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Graff of South Texas and one son, Danny Ray Justus of Florida, and four grandchildren, Tanya, Diana, Jerob and Kelly.

Three great grandsons survive. Also surviving is one older brother, Eural Justus of Lubbock and one younger sister, Lavelle Eicke of Snyder, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.

Oma Ray, a veteran of World War II was in the Army Calvary serving in Occupational Japan.

Most of his years were lived in Crosby County. He grew up on a farm in the Big Four Community and graduated from Crosbyton High School. After the army discharge he attended Abilene Christian College.

Ray is remembered as a quiet, kind, compassionate and peaceful man. He was loving and faithful in caring for his aged mother during her long life on earth.

Graveside Memorial services were held and burial was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
