CROSBYTON (Special) — Funeral services for Ray Jones, 67, retired Crosbyton area rancher who died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday in a Crosbyton hospital, will be at 4 p.m. today in First Methodist Church here.
Officiating will be the Rev. Wayne Cook, chaplain at Lubbock's Methodist Hospital, assisted by First Methodist pastor, the Rev. Lee Crouch. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Jones suffered an apparent heart attack at his hotel room here and died in the hospital an hour later.
Surviving are two sons, Noel, Anchorage, Alaska, and Jack, Ft. Blagg, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. B. H. Davis, Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. L. D. Waldron, Lubbock; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Purser, Salem, Ore.; Mrs. Margaret Paschall, Orange, Calif., and Mrs. Jack Parkey, Floydada; a brother, Jack, Carlsbad, N.M.; his mother, Mrs. Orlie Ferguson, Ralls; 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
