Graveside services for Hazel Ogle Jones, 82, of Crosbyton will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 1996, in the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Les Griffin, pastor of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church, officiating.Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mrs. Jones died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1996, in the Crosbyton Hospital following an illness. She was born Dec. 18, 1913, in Athens, TX, and married Charlie J. Ogle Jan. 9, 1931, in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death Mar. 13, 1969. She then married J. C. Jones Feb. 14, 1974, in Lorenzo. She was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church. She retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety where she worked in the Drivers´ License Division for many years. She moved to this area in 1926. She was preceded by a son, Charley Ray Ogle, who died in 1972.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. Jones of Crosbyton; three sons, Julian Ogle of Morongo Valley, CA, Jodie Ogle of Brownfield, and Rick Jones of Long Beach, CA; two daughters, Marje Bolander of Riverside, CA, and Donna Burns of Plainview; 22 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
