Pioneer Crosby Resident Dies
CROSBYTON (Special) -Mrs. Ida Johnson, 84, pioneer resident of Crosbyton, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Hospital.A native of Tennessee, Mrs. Johnson had lived here more than 50 years. She also was a member of the First Baptist Church here.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in King Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earnest Stewart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Moore, Stockton, Calif., and Mrs. Hattie Heath, Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Robert Welch, Knoxville, and John Welch, Sharp´s Chapel, Tenn.; a nephew, Hubert Turner, Crosbyton; and a niece, Mrs. Beulah Bennett, Stockton.
