CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Georgie Elma Johnson, 88, of Crosbyton will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Glen Beaver, pastor of First Assembly of God Church in Seagraves, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 11:47 a.m. Sunday in Lubbock´s St. Mary´s Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Tennessee and moved to Crosbyton in 1938. Her husband, H. B. Johnson, died in 1968. She was a housewife and a charter member of the Assembly of God Church. A son, Bobby Jim, and a daughter, Georgia Bishop, preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Eldeen of Fort Stockton, Fred of Midland and Billy of Ralls; three daughters, Johnnie Murphy of Seagraves, Pearl Purdue of Lamar, Ark., and June Davis of Crosbyton; a sister, Bess Ogden of Broken Bow, Okla; 17 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
