Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday for Mrs. Laura Johnson, 65. Rites were in First Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Ernest Stewart, officiating.
Interment was in Crosbyton Cemetery.
A Crosbyton resident since 1929, the Hall County native was claimed by death at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Curt; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Daniel of Lubbock; a son, Curtis Johnson of Santa Monica, Calif.; two brothers, M. J. Gossett and Theron Gossett, both of Amarillo; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Brown of Fort Worth, Mrs. Willie Mullins of Garland and Mrs. Hazel Walker of Wilson; and three grandchildren.

Curtis D. Johnson of Ralls, a former longtime Crosbyton resident was claimed by death at 7:57 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. He was 81.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. The Rev. Randy Butler, associated pastor, officiated.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.
Mr. Johnson was born May 30, 1900, in Hall County. He was married to Laura Mae Gossett on Oct. 19, 1926, in Memphis, Tex. Mrs. Johnson preceded her husband in death on April 28, 1973.
Mr. Johnson was employed by the City of Crosbyton sanitation department until his retirement in 1966. He later moved to Ralls.
He had been a Crosby County resident since moving in 1929 from Hall County.
Survivors include one son, Curtis Wayne Johnson of Los Angeles, Calif.; one daughter, Mary Daniel of Ralls; three grandchildren, Terry Daniel of Amarillo, Lucretia Daniel of Hobbs, N.M., and Mrs. Jack (Lori) Moore of Post; and four great grandsons.
