J. N. Hutcherson

James N. Hutcherson - known to friends as "J.N." - was buried Saturday afternoon in Crosbyton Cemetery following 2 p.m. memorial services in Galilee Baptist Church. The Rev. Eugene Gentry, pastor, officiated.

Adams Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Mr. Hutcherson, 75, had been a Crosbyton resident since moving here in 1960.

He was claimed by death at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Odessa Medical Center following a prolonged illness.

A native of Henderson, Mr. Hutcherson was a retired farmer. He and Aquilla Douglas were married April 13, 1952 in Brenham.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Darrell Eugene Hutcherson of Crosbyton; one daughter, Nellie Mae Porter of Odessa; one brother, Bubba of Henderson; one sister, Jimmie Lee Hutcherson of Garland; four grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
