Funeral services for Maude A. Hudson were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church. The Rev. Bobby Rine officiated.Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home.
The 70 year old Crosbyton woman was claimed by death about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a prolonged illness.
The former Maude A. Carroll was born Sept. 5, 1905, in Holder, Okla. She and Clarence J. (Nick) Hudson were married Nov. 8, 1922, Newcastle, Tex. The couple moved to Crosbyton in 1963 from Seminole.
Mrs. Hudson was a member of First Baptist Church in Crosbyton and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge in Seminole.
Survivors include: her husband, Clarence J. (Nick) Hudson; one grandson, Benny Robert Hudson, who resides with his grandparents; two brothers, S.E. Carroll of Barstow, Calif., and J. C. Carroll of Monahans; and four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Webb of Vernal, Utah, Mrs. Dell Jordan of Newcastle, Mrs. Ruby Flynn of Austin, and Mrs. Lillian Moore of Farmington, NM.
