CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Viola Howell, 88, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Howell died Wednesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in fisher County and married Elvis Howell in March 1924 in Roby. He died on Feb.8, 1955. She moved to the Crosbyton area in 1929 from Fisher County. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. A son, Ray, died in 1967.

Survivors include a son, John of Mountain View; two daughters, Vaunda Buck and Arvella Cash, both of Crosbyton; a sister, Lottie Moorman of Abilene; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
