Services Held Friday for Mrs. Carl Holcomb

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church or Mrs. Craigy Iola Holcomb, 51. Rev. L. E. White, pastor of the Pansy Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. Otis Testerman, pastor of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church, and Thomas Compton, Crosbyton Church of Christ minister.

Mrs. Holcomb died at 9 a.m. Thursday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a long illness. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holcomb moved to the McAdoo community in 1937, and to Crosbyton in 1951 where she had lived since. She was a member of the Pansy Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; a daughter, Mrs. Don Parker, Crosbyton; three sons, Carl Everett, Albuquerque, Tiff of Amarillo, and George, Crosbyton; five sisters, Mrs. J.C. Joplin of McAdoo, Mrs. J.A. Brooks and Mrs. J. T. Reeder, both of Fort Worth, Mrs. Ray Morgan of Amarillo, and Mrs. Fred Wells, Richmond, Ky.; four brothers, J.M. Covington, Austin, Rev. Tiff Holcomb of Wichita Falls, D.F. Covington of Lovington, and M.C. Covington of Bowie; and five grandchildren.
