Graveside services for Clifford Hoffman, 87, of Crosbyton were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
He died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.
He was born April 15, 1915, in Mankato, MN.
He married Jimmye Vee Lowe on Dec. 1, 1945, in Lubbock, TX. She died April 27, 1991.
He moved to Crosbyton in 1962 and worked in maintenance for the Housing Authority in Crosbyton for several years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and received the Legion of Merit medal.
Survivors include three sons, Greg Hoffman of Crosbyton, Gordon Hoffman of Lubbock and Phillip Hoffman of Crosbyton; one daughter, Melissa Jones of Crosbyton; four grandchildren, Heather Jones of Albuquerque, NM, Nathan Jones of Lakewood, CO, Russell Hoffman and Michael Hoffman of Lubbock; and two great-grandchildren, Caleigh and Ashleigh Hoffman.
