U.S.Flag   Graveside services for Carroll Himmel, 76, of Crosbyton were held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 7, 1998, at Crosbytn Cemetery with Irvin Himmel of Decatur, AL, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Mr. Himmel died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Crosby county. He married Bobbie Moody on Sept. 27, 1947, in Lubbock. She died May 3, 1985. Himmel graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1939. He served in the Air force during World War II, serving in France and England. He lived in Crosbyton most of his life.

Survivors include one son, Kelly of Edinburg; one daughter, Kathy Givens of Crosbyton; one brother, Irvin of Decatur, AL; and four grandchildren.
