Graveside services for J. Clyde Hillin Jr., 75, of Ralls were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 1994, in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor of the Ralls First Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment was directed by Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Hillin died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1994, in Crosbyton Hospital.
He was born on Nov. 29, 1918, in Owens Community. He married Wenonah Lowe on May 1, 1947, in Clovis, NM. He was a banker and national bank examiner for nine years. He was vice president of the Citizens National Bank of Lubbock for eight years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the South Pacific as a Tech Sargent and received the Purple Heart and the Silver Star. He was a former member of the Lubbock Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Wenonah Hillin of Ralls; two sons, J. Clyde Hillin, III of Canyon Lake and Billy Hillin of Victoria; a sister, Louise Smith of Ralls; and three grandchildren. Heath Hillin of Victoria, Krista McManara and Robert Black of San Antonio.
