Marvin Hill, 23 Fatally Injured by Horse´s Kick

Robert Marvin Hill, 23, died shortly after being rushed to a Lubbock hospital Wednesday. He suffered the fatal injury when kicked in the side by a horse in mid-afternoon.

Hill was employed by a Lubbock feed lots firm. He moved there from Crosbyton two years ago.

Born in Crosbyton, November 7, 1939, Hill was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hill. He lettered three years on the Chieftain football team and was captain his senior year.

After graduation in 1957, he attended Texas Tech. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife, Gerry; a son, Robert Michael; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hill, Crosbyton; two brothers, Dale, Hearne; and Charles, Crosbyton; and grandparents, Mrs. R. L. Hill, Crosbyton, and Mrs. R. L. Daniel, Bakersfield, Calif.
