Services Held Sunday for Mrs. Higginbotham

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jane Higginbotham, 70, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Methodist Church. Rev. Carlton Thomson, pastor, officiated.

Mrs. Higginbotham was found dead in the bathroom of her home at 11:30 a.m. Friday by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd McGinnes. Mrs. McGinnes is her daughter.

A Crosby County resident since 1915, Mrs. Higginbotham was born in Grant County, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter; three brothers, T.W. Stockton Sr., Crosbyton, Charlie and Bill, Buffalo Gap; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Flippe, Abilene, and Mrs. Ross Gentry, San Juan, Texas.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery. King Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
