Services for Alice Karr Higginbotham, 98, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 1991, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Higginbotham died Sunday night, April 7, 1991, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after an illness.

She was born in Moody and moved from Medicine Mound to Crosbyton in 1915. She married Riley Edmond Karr on Nov. 28, 1909, in Medicine Mound. He died in 1953. She married Claude Higginbotham on March 8, 1964, in Crosbyton. He died in 1966. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church and a charter member of the Homemakers´ Sunday School Class. Two sons, Roy Weldon Karr and Olin Edmond Karr, and a daughter, Edith Rowena Blagg, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Ted Karr and Jimmy Karr, both of Crosbyton; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
