
Services for Lilla Hickman, 77, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 1986 in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel of Chimes in Muleshoe.Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery at 3 p.m. Saturday.
She died on Tuesday, December 16, 1986 in a Muleshoe Nursing Home.
She was born November 26, 1909 in Grayson County, Texas and married M.E. Hickman January 5, 1933 in Roswell, New Mexico. She had been a resident of Bailey County since 1957 and prior to that had lived in Ralls. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Muleshoe.
Survivors include her husband, M.E. Hickman, Sr.; 1 son, M.E. Hickman, Jr. of Whitehouse, Tennessee; 3 daughters, Lora Mae West of Lubbock; Dorothy Jean Fulton of Apache Junction, Arizona; Virginia Moyer of Friona, Texas; 7 sisters, Jewell Hickman of Lubbock, O´Bender Carter of Weott, California, Ora Buttke of Sacramento, Calif., Nadine Mobley of Andrews; Helen Hinkle, Dorothy Decker, Frances Upton, all of Brownfield; 1 brother, John Hugh Gray of Quincy, Calif. and 8 grandsons.

MULESHOE (Special) - Graveside services for M.E. "Doc" Hickman Sr., 84, of Muleshoe will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Williams officiating.Burial will be under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
Hickman died Thursday in Muleshoe Area Medical Center after an illness.
He was born in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and moved to Muleshoe from Crosby County in 1957. He married Lilla Gray on Jan. 5, 1933, in Roswell, NM. She died on Dec. 16, 1986.
