Betty Henry 72 of Lubbock passed away Saturday November 1, 2014 in Lubbock. Betty was born August 17, 1942 in Crosbyton Texas to Albert and Margie Gregory Anderson. She enjoyed watching football, listening to country music, playing cards and embroidering , but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty graduated from Lubbock High School and played clarinet in the band.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Chronic and her husband Johnny of Lubbock; a brother Dwayne Anderson of South Carolina; two sisters Lavell Baker and husband David of Lubbock and Kay Wright of Lubbock, four grandchildren; DJ Haakinson and wife Jessica of Milford, Matt Haakinson Lubbock, JJ Chronic of Red Oak, Jaimi Stuckey of Ft. Worth and three great grandchildren; Logan, Kenzie, and Cameron. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday November 3, 2014 in the Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Jean Riley officiating. The family suggest memorials be made to your favorite charity.
