Mary Isabelle Ratheal was born on December 19, 1935, her father, Roy Clarence Rathael, was 34 and her mother, Rella Mary Starrett, was 36.She died on June 21, 2011, in Baytown, Texas, at the age of 75, and was buried in Crosbyton, Texas.
Kenneth Darwyn Havens was born on March 27, 1936, in Dickens, Texas. His father was Walter Elmer Havens and his Mother was Della Dale Parson. He died on December 2, 2006, in Baytown, Texas, at the age of 70, and was buried in Crosbyton, Texas.
Kenneth and Mary were married on January 27, 1954, in Clovis, New Mexico. They had three children during their marriage. Their oldest child, Freda LaDawn Havens, died at the age of 8.
Graveside services for Kenneth Havens, 70, of La Porte, Texas will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in the Crosbyton Cemetery with Clifford Trull officiating.
Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Kenneth passed away Saturday, December 2, 2006 at St. John's Hospital in Clear Lake. He was born March 27, 1936 in Spur, Texas to the late Walter Elmer and Della Dale (Parsons) Havens. On January 27, 1954 he married Mary Isabell Ratheal in Clovis, New Mexico.
Kenneth attended Kalgary and Grassburr schools and graduated from Crosbyton High School. He farmed in Kalgary and Wake and was a member of the Pansy Baptist Church while living in Crosby County. He had also worked in construction. He moved to La Porte in 1988.
He is preceded in death by a daughter; Freda L'Dawn Havens on June 6, 1970.
Survivors include; his wife Mary of Baytown; a son and his wife; Tim and Jodie Havens of La Porte and a daughter and her husband; Shelley and Ronnie Bass of La Porte five grandchildren; Slater Bass and wife Nikki, Wes Havens, Penny Havens, Shelby Jones and husband Ben, Randy Wheeler and two great grandchildren; Jentry Bass and Kylin Wheeler.

Graveside services for Mary Isabelle Havens, 75, of Baytown, formerly of Crosbyton will be at 10 a.m. June 25, 2011 in the Crosbyton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Mary passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at St. James House in Baytown. She was born December 18, 1935 to the late R.C. and Rella (Starrett) Ratheal. On January 27, 1954 she married Kenneth Darwyn Havens. Mary graduated from Crosbyton High School and resided in the Kalgary and Wake communities and was a member of the Pansy Baptist Church while living in Crosby County. She moved to La Porte in 1988.
Mary is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Darwyn Havens on December 2, 2006 and daughter, Freda L'Dawn Havens on June 6, 1970.
Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Shelley and Ronnie Bass of La Porte; a son and his wife Tim and Jodie Havens of Pasadena; five grandchildren, Slater Bass and wife Nikki, Wes Havens, Penny Havens, Shelby Jones and husband Ben, and Randy Wheeler and 5 great grandchildren, Jentry Bass, Jayton Bass, Alivia Havens, Grayson Jones and Kylin Wheeler.
Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2011 from 2-6 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
