CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Macel Harkins, 63, of Ruidoso, NM, and formerly of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harkins died at a Crane Hospital Monday morning after a sudden illness.
The Lakeview native was married to J.M. Harkins on Jan. 19, 1941, in Clovis, NM. She served as secretary to Crosbyton´s city secretary for 21 years before she retired Dec. 31, 1977.
Mrs. Harkins moved to Ruidoso a year ago and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Bill of Crane; a daughter, Doris Jean Traylor of Crosbyton; a sister, Inez Otten of El Paso; and four grandchildren.
