Services for Leslie Carroll Hargrove, 67, of Crosbyton were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 1996, in the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Rev. Cliff Hargrove, pastor of Sudan First Baptist Church, and Leonard Harper, minister of the Crosbyton Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Hargrove died Tuesday, March 26, 1996, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following an illness. He was born April 7, 1928, in Crosbyton and married TaJuhanna Lee Marney on June 8, 1949, in Crosbyton. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and was in the sand and gravel business. He was a veteran serving in the Marines. He had lived in the Crosbyton area all his life.
Survivors include his wife, TaJuhanna Hargrove of Crosbyton; a daughter, Kimberly Beth Hargrove of Lubbock; a brother, Joe Hargrove of Crosbyton; four sisters, Ada Maye Damron of Matador, Billie Jean Stokes of Cotton Center and Mary Lou Berry and Nelda Sue Webb, both of Bakerfield, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Christopher Joel Pereida and Marci Kay Pereida both of Crosbyton.

Services for TaJuhanna Hargrove, 76, of Crosbyton will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Terry Ellison officiating. Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. TaJuhanna passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Covenant Lakeside in Lubbock.
She was born May 12, 1932 in Lamar, Colo. to Benjamin and Alice (Holmes) Marney. On June 8, 1949 she married Leslie Hargrove in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1996. TaJuhanna lived in Crosbyton most of her life and was a member of the Crosbyton Church of Christ. She was an avid card player and seamstress. She had worked at Energas, for Judge Walker, and at the abstract office.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Pereida on August 31, 2000 and a sister, Marquinta Johnston.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Hargrove of Lubbock; a brother, Truman Dean Marney of Lubbock; a sister, Pauline Loyd of Bakersfield, Calif.; a granddaughter, Marci Kay Pereida of Lubbock; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
