Graveside services for Myra Lee Handley, 90, of Crosbyton were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, in Crosbyton Cemetery with George Johnson officiating and Tom Taylor assisting.A memorial service followed at the Primitive Baptist Church in Crosbyton with the same officiants.
Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002 at Lubbock´s Covenant Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 24, 1911, in Whitney and married L.M. Handley on Oct. 31, 1931, in McAdoo. He died Aug. 5, 1987. She was a homemaker and had moved to Crosbyton from San Angelo.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Farris on Jan. 19, 1983, and Bobby Neal on July 4, 1933.
Survivors include a son, Don of Crosbyton; a daughter, Myrna Mitchell of Cross Plains; a sister, Leona Johnson of Bakersfield, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
