CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for L.M. Handley, 76, of Crosbyton will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Crosbyton Primitive Baptist Church with Elder George Johnson, pastor, officiating.Assisting will be Elder Luther Porter of Paducah.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under directions of Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Childress and had lived in Cross Plains before moving to Crosbyton in March. He married Myra L. Clark on Oct. 30, 1931, in McAdoo. He was an income tax consultant and served as pastor of Crosbyton and Cross Plains Primitive Baptist churches. He also served churches in Lawn, Munday, San Angelo and Tuscola. A son, Farris, died in 1983.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Don L. of Crosbyton; a daughter, Myrna Mitchell of Cross Plains; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
