Rites Set For H.B. Handley Here FridayHarvey B. Handley, 81, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday in the Crosbyton hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton with Elder Joe Jackson of Cone officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Born in Crenshaw, Alabama, he moved to Crosby County in January, 1925, where he farmed until his retirement several years ago.
He joined the Primitive Baptist Church in 1911.
He is survived by his wife, Nannie; one son, L.M. Handley of Crosbyton; four sisters, Verbie Crawford of Hollis, Okla., Mrs. Annie Mitchell of Crosbyton; Mrs. L.A. Smith of Hart´s Camp, and Mrs. Ruth Heath of Lubbock; two brothers, S.J. of Floydada and J.O. of Carmel, Calif.; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
