Services Held Friday For J. Hardy Hancock
Funeral services for James Hardy Hancock, 58, long time Crosbyton resident, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in King Funeral Chapel. Rev. Otis Testerman, pastor, of First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.Mr. Hancock died suddenly at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday following a heart attack. At the time he was preparing to move a farm building near McAdoo.
Survivors are three brothers, Bob of Lubbock, Ray and Grady of Crosbyton; and three sisters, Mrs. C.E. Phillips, Corsicana; Mrs. W.L. Hood, Athens, and Mrs. Charlie Ogle, Crosbyton.
