CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Donald Wayne Hancock, 51, of Midland will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Hugh Jack Norwood officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday at about 12:35 p.m. at a house he was helping to remodel in Crosbyton. Justice of the Peace Jim S. Travis ruled the death a suicide.
Hancock was born in Crosbyton and moved to Midland in 1981. He married Carol Wilcox on Oct. 27, 1984, in Midland. He was an insurance salesman and had pastored several Baptist churches in the Lubbock area.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jonathan Ray of Orlando, FL., and David Wayne of Hobbs, NM; a daughter, Heather Lynn of Midland; two stepsons, Joseph Lance Runnels and Jason Edward Runnels, both of Orange; his father, Ray of Weslaco; three brothers, Gay of Alvin, Keith of Spur and Terry of Alvarado; and a sister, Shirley Maze of Lubbock.
