CROSBYTON (Special) Services for Tommie Hames, 90, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crosbyton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bud Kidwell, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction Adams Funeral Home.
She died on Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center-Lakeside. She was born March 22, 1909, in Bronte. She married Warren Hames on May 16, 1925, in Bronte. He died on Dec. 25, 1967. She was a member of Crosbyton First United Methodist Church, the Loyalty Sunday School Class and the WMU. She worked for Raye Campbell Dry Goods in Crosbyton for 23 years. She moved from Ralls to Crosbyton in 1936.
Survivors include three sisters, Della Fitzhugh of San Antonio, Gwyn Meyer of New Braunfels and Betty Jane Hughes of Houston.
The family suggests memorials to Crosbyton First United Methodist Church, 416 W. Main, Crosbyton, 79322.
