Rosary for Epifanio Guzman III, 23 of Crosbyton was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 1988 in San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1988, in the same church with the same officiant.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 11:41 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 1988, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. Justice of the Peace Clyde Davis ruled the death a suicide.
Guzman was born in Lubbock and had lived in Crosbyton and Ralls most of his life. He was an employee of Crosbyton Clinic Hospital and was a member of San Jose Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Christopher of Brownfield, a daughter, Crystal Ann of Brownfield; his mother, Irene Guzman of Brownfield; three brothers, Ray and Peter both of Brownfield and Gilbert of Ralls; two sisters, Joannah Guzman of Abernathy; his maternal grandmother, Magdelina Ruiz of Crosbyton; and his paternal grandparents, Epifanio and Maria Guzman of Amarillo.
