Rosary for Isiac Gutierrez, 7, of Lubbock will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the same church with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
He passed away March 6, 2009 in Lubbock. Isiac was born on October 24, 2001 in Lubbock and was a second grader at Willow Bend Elementary School in Wolfforth. He had lived in Lubbock most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jorge Gutierrez, Sr., who died January 21, 2009, and two brothers, Xavier Sanchez and Fabian Sanchez, who both died on March 6, 2009.
Survivors include his parents, Josie Gutierrez and Richard Hernandez of Lubbock; maternal grandmother, Blanca Salinas of Crosbyton; and paternal grandmother Juliana Hernandez of Lubbock.
