Funeral Rites Set Today for Mrs. Grubaugh

Funeral services for Mrs. Madiline Grubaugh, 89, longtime Crosbyton resident, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today, Thursday, at the Crosbyton Church of Christ.

Mrs. Grubaugh died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday at the home of her son, Doc Grubaugh, in Pacifica, California, where she had lived the past year.

Officiating at the funeral rites will be Bill Bryant, minister of the Crosbyton Church of Christ. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

A native of Lampasas County, Mrs. Grubaugh came to Crosbyton in 1918 and lived here until she moved to Pacifica last year to live with her son. She was a member of Crosbyton Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Doc Grubaugh of Pacifica, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1940.

Pallbearers will be Carrol Robertson, Don Moses, Richard Proctor, Lonnie F. Ellison, Leonard Parker and Joe Johnston.
