Services for Mamie W. Green 84, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 1989 in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jo Carr, pastor, officiating.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 1989 in her home.Justice of the Peace Clyde Davis ruled the death due to natural causes.
Mrs. Green was born in Limestone County and moved to Crosbyton in 1933. She married Charlie Clyde Green on Feb. 6, 1925, in Fannin County. He died April 27, 1976. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. A son, Gene, died in 1973.
Survivors include a daughter, Lorene Long of Midland; three brothers, Willie D. Webster of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Rex Webster and Glen Webster, both of California; a step-brother, Frank Medley of Lubbock; a step-sister, Bernice Medley of Bonham; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
