Rites to the memory of Mrs. Mary Etta Gossett were conducted at 2:30 p.m. last Thursday in the Crosbyton Assembly of God Church. The Rev. James Richardson, pastor, officiated.

Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. King Funeral Home directed arrangements.

Mrs. Gossett, 79, succumbed about 7 p.m. Tuesday of last week in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock following a lengthy illness.

A native of Hall County, she had been a resident of this community since 1929.

Survivors include two sons, N. J. Gossett and Theron Gossett, both of Amarillo; four daughters, Laura Johnson of Crosbyton, Ellen Brown of Amarillo, Willie Mullins of Garland and Hazel Walker of Wilson; one sister, Mrs. O. L. Langlitz of Lovington, N.M.; 24 grandchildren, and 42 great-grandchildren.
