Rites to the memory of Mrs. Mary Etta Gossett were conducted at 2:30 p.m. last Thursday in the Crosbyton Assembly of God Church. The Rev. James Richardson, pastor, officiated.Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. King Funeral Home directed arrangements.
Mrs. Gossett, 79, succumbed about 7 p.m. Tuesday of last week in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock following a lengthy illness.
A native of Hall County, she had been a resident of this community since 1929.
Survivors include two sons, N. J. Gossett and Theron Gossett, both of Amarillo; four daughters, Laura Johnson of Crosbyton, Ellen Brown of Amarillo, Willie Mullins of Garland and Hazel Walker of Wilson; one sister, Mrs. O. L. Langlitz of Lovington, N.M.; 24 grandchildren, and 42 great-grandchildren.
