Memorial services for Cordia Ozella Glisson of Mineral Wells, a former longtime Crosbyton resident, were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, in the Crosbyton First Baptist Church. The Rev. Bobby Rine, pastor, officiated.Burial was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jerry Gentry, Donville Moore, Jimmy Karr, C. K. Simmons, Arles Graham and George Stanford.
Mrs. Glisson was 82. She was claimed by death about noon Monday, Dec. 19, at Resort Lodge Nursing Home in Mineral Wells after having been ill since Sunday.
Mrs. Glisson had been a resident of that nursing home since moving there from Crosbyton two years ago following the death of her husband, Tobe Glisson on May 28, 1981.
Born Feb. 24, 1901, in Adell, Tex., she was married to Arthur Ozi (Tobe) Glisson on July 26, 1945, in Crosbyton.
A housewife, she was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Esteline Waytt of Austin; one brother, R. W. Haney of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Mr. A. L. Holder of Cleburne and Mrs. Loby Lawrence of Mineral Wells; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
