Rites Read For Mrs. Gipson Here Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. R. S. (Minnie) Gipson were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Primitive Baptist Church. She died Thursday afternoon in the Crosbyton hospital.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery with King Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Officiating were Jessie Bass of Austin, L. M. Handley of Crosbyton and Horace Coffman of Lubbock.

Born in Coree, Mrs. Gipson moved to Crosbyton in 1923. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband; five sons, Cecil of Littlefield, Reese of Sundown, Frank of Perryton, M. W. of Lubbock and Alamo of Pampa; five sisters, Mrs. O. M. Chennault of Crosbyton, Mrs. Sam Wilson of Knox City, Mrs. Mary Hight of Paducah, Mrs. Joe Jones of Lawton, Okla., and Mrs. Pearl Sanders of Plainview; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
