Services were held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the Crosbyton First Baptist Church with Pete Flores officiating. Burial followed in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Olivia passed away early Sunday morning, October 16, 2005 in Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center. She was born October 25, 1941 in Mexico to Elias and Maria (Cruz) Garza. She was a homemaker, a member of the New Vision Ministry and moved to Crosbyton in 1991 from Weslaco.
Survivors include her husband, Abel Saldivar of Crosbyton, 2 sons, Michael Garza and Mario Garza, both of Crosbyton, 2 daughters, Michelle Garza and Maribel Garza, both of Crosbyton, 5 brothers, Mario and Ramiro Garza, both of Crosbyton, Adam and Roel Garza, both of Weslaco and Elias P. Garza of Grand Rapids, Michigan, 5 sisters, Eugenia Almaraz of Harlingen, Alicia Cavazos and Angelita Garza, both of Crosbyton, Velica Mendoza and Rose Maria Guzman, both of Weslaco and 6 grandchildren.
