Edgar M. Garner Dies In Crosby

CROSBYTON (Special) - Edgar Marvin Garner, 89, Crosbyton resident 17 years and a retired farmer, died at 4:55 p.m. in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital here.

Garner came to Dickens County in 1938, moving to Crosbyton in 1948.

Funeral services are pending at King Funeral Home here.

Survivors include three sons, Bill, Seagraves, Austin Garner, Seagraves and Houston Garner, Wickett; six daughters, Ruth Garner, Crosbyton, Mrs. Harvey Elder, Pecos, Mrs. Grace Walker, Woodson, Mrs. Bill Lee, Crosbyton, Mrs. Paul Tucker, Montrose, Colo. and Mrs. W. H. Richardson, Hereford; three sisters, Elizabeth Stewart, New Deal and Mrs. Etter Fincher and Mrs. Anna Wilson, both of Strawn; and 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
