Shelly Karen Garcia, 51, of Crosbyton passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011, in Crosbyton at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 12, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Crosbyton with Rev. Les Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton. A visitation for family and friends will held from 5-7 P.M., Friday at the Adams funeral home in Crosbyton. Karen was born on March 29, 1960, in Big Spring, Texas to Richard and Vera(Dewbre) Savage. Karen loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mi'ka Garza and her grandparents, Ike & Vesta Dewbre and Richard & Edra Savage.
Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Lee Garza and her husband Michael of Crosbyton, her son, Jose Garcia and his girlfriend Sandra Martinez of Crosbyton, her parents, Richard & Vera Savage of Crosbyton, seven grandchildren, Destinee Garza, Jeramiah Garza, Adrian Garza, J'Lyn Garcia, Precious Garcia, Maci Garcia and Richard Klemisch, and two sisters, Cynthia Martinez of Crosbyton and Penny Ward & husband Terry of Houston.
