Rosary for Juan Refugio "John" Garcia, will be at 7:00 P. M., Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at the same church with Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

John passed away Sunday, January 30, 2005 at his home in Crosbyton.

He was born May 19, 1952 in Edinburg. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crosbyton and worked for Crosbyton Seed Company and before that he had worked for Teldyne Oil Co. He had lived in Crosbyton all his life. He is preceded in death by his parents; Anselmo, Sr. and Isidra Garcia.

Survivors include; two sons; John David Simmons and John Michael, a daughter; Christella Simmons, two brothers; Pete Cruz of Miles, Anselmo "Beaver" Garcia of Crosbyton, five sisters; Susie Medina of Miles, Bettye Lira of Ralls, Janie Rendon of Slaton, Anita Marquez of Petersburg and Rose Salas of Crosbyton, eight nieces, 6 nephews, 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew.

Pallbearers will be: Bobby Fira, O.J. Rendon, Pete Almarez, Nick Medina, Sam Medina, Sam Salas, Pete Cruz, Jr. and Clem Gutierrez.
