CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Isidra Chavez Garcia, 58, of Crosbyton will be at 10:30 a.m. today in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating. Assisting will be the Rev. Malcolm Neyland, pastor from Wolfforth.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garcia died at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary of the Plains Hospital in Lubbock after lengthy illness.
She was born in Travis County. She married Anselmo Garcia Sr. Aug. 21, 1971, in Ralls. She moved to Crosbyton 28 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the San Jose Catholic Church and the Guadalupana.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Pete Cruz of Houston, John Garcia and Anelsmo Garcia Jr., both of Crosbyton; five daughters, Susie Medina of Miles, Anita Rodriguez of Lakeview and Bettye Lira, Janie Rendon and Rosie Salas, all of Crosbyton; her mother, Juanita Garcia of Hale Center; two brothers, Jesse Garcia of Greeley, Colo., and Richard Garcia of Crystal City; two sisters, Petra Rendon of Hale Center and Inez Gutierrez of Greeley, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Rafael Pina, Frank Lira, Jose Pilo Perez, Pete Arriaga, J. P. Murrillo and Willie Fira Jr.
