Orrie C. Fowler, 80, a longtime Crosby County farmer, died about 1:30 a.m. in the Crosbyton hospital after a lengthy illness.Services for Fowler will be today, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Crosbyton. Elder L.M. Handley will officiate, assisted by Elder Joe Jackson of Cone and the Rev. Henry Salley of Crosbyton. Burial will be in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of King Funeral Home.
A native of Arcadia, Neb., Fowler moved to Crosby County in 1914 and had farmed since then.
Survivors include his wife, Vina; two sons, Elvis Fowler of Oklahoma City and Orman Fowler
