Services for Zella Jo Kindle Fowler, 74, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Terry Ellison and Ronnie Hedges officiating. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at Covenant Medical Center Lakeside in Lubbock.
She was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Proctor, OK, to Bill and Mable Galleon Kindle.
She married Orman Clinton Fowler Dec. 24, 1946, in Westville, OK.
She was a member of the Crosbyton Church of Christ and a homemaker. She moved to Crosbyton in 1960.
She is preceded in death by a brother; Junior Kindle, who died in 1970.
Survivors include her husband, Orman, of Crosbyton, three sons, Ronald of Lubbock, Gerald of Idalou, David of Plainview; a daughter, Debra Riley of Crosbyton; four brothers, Erval Kindle and Walter Kindle, both of Westville, OK., Elmo Kindle of Claremore, OK., Jim Kindle of Tulsa, OK.; five sisters, Juanita Guthrie of California, Patsy Murray and Betty Rhine, both of Oregon, Carolyn Neale and Billie Howard, both of Westville, OK; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Kindle, Kenneth Kindle, Mike Kindle, Leland Kindle, Bart Kindle, Brad Kindle, Jimmie Kindle and Keith Kindle.

Services for Ormon C. Fowler, 85, of Crosbyton were held at 2:00 PM, Thursday April 22, 2004 at the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Terry Ellison officiating. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.He died Sunday, April 18, 2004 at Crosbyton Hospital.
He was born on February 27, 1919 in Lubbock, TX to Orrie and Ethel Patterson Fowler. On December 24, 1946 he married Zella Jo Kindle in Westville, OK. She preceded him in death on January 4, 2004.
He was a farmer and a member of the Crosbyton Church of Christ. Ormon moved to Crosby County in 1960 from Hobbs, NM. He served in the US Army during WWII
Survivors include three sons, Roland of Lubbock, Gerald of Idalou and David of Plainview, a daughter, Debra Riley of Crosbyton, a brother Elvis of Prague, OK and nine grandchildren.
