Rites Read For Loyd A. Fowler Here Monday Funeral services for Loyd A. Fowler, 67, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Crosbyton Church of Christ. The longtime Crosbyton resident died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday of a heart attack. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Spur Hospital.Officiating was Bill Bryant, minister. interment was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Born in Arcadia, Neb., Fowler moved to a farm north of Crosbyton in 1915.
Survivors include the wife, three daughters, Mrs. Murrell Stainthorpe of San Antonio, Mrs. Nebert Stahl of Denver, Colo. and Mrs. Tommy Williamson of Ralls; four sons, Gwin Dale Fowler of Corpus Christi, Leslie Loyd Fowler of Lubbock, and Eph Allen and Harley Fowler, both of Crosbyton, a sister, Mrs. Johnny Parker of Crosbyton; three brothers, Elgin of Floyd N. M., and Orville and Alvin Fowler, both of Fallon, Nevada.
Pallbearers were C.D. Smith, W.O. Matthews, R.P. Kirkendall. Leonard Parker, Keith Parker, Jack Parker, L.A. Horne and Larry Parker.

CROSBYTON (Special) - Memorial services for Ethice Leslie Reynolds Fowler, 82, of Crosbyton will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Church of Christ with Joseph Johnston, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funreal Home.
She died at 6 p.m. Thursday in Lubbock´s St. Mary´s Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Cisco and moved from the Big Four Community to Crosbyton in 1964. She married Loyd A. Fowler on May 16, 1923, in Big Four. He died Nov. 28, 1964. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Faye, on Oct. 12, 1933, and Norris Hale "Bob" Fowler on Jan. 16, 1938.
Survivors include four sons, Gwin Dale of Jacksonville, Leslie of Kent, Wash., Eph Allen of Crosbyton and Harley of Blue Mound; three daughters, Dixie Stainthorpe of Lubbock, Wilma Jean Stahl of Denver, Colo., and Margie Williamson of Pecos; two brothers, Basil Reynolds of Athens, Ala. and Arnold Reynolds of Lytle; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to White River Youth Camp, Box 496, Crosybton, Texas 79322
