J.M. Fowler, 81, of Crosbyton, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012, at his residence in Crosbyton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P .M. Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
J.M. was born on September 5, 1930, in Crosbyton, Texas on the family farm/ranch north of Crosbyton to Glenford and Ora Marie (Kiker) Fowler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenford and Ora Marie (Kiker) Fowler, a brother-n-law, Wyverne Flatt, one niece Teresa Flatt Kennedy.
Survivors include his brother, Wayne Fowler and wife Linda of Plainview Texas. Their children Karen Yarbrough and husband (2 children), Donna Fleming and husband (6 children), Marty Hughes and wife ( 4 children), Melissa Butler and husband (2 children). He is also survived by two sisters, Mary E. Flatt of Ridgeville, South Carolina, her children Ivena Phelps, Ray Flatt and wife (3 children), Len Flatt and wife ( 5 children), and Loreta Henderson and Husband John C. Henderson of Stratford Texas. Their children Howard Henderson (2 children), David Henderson and wife (5 children), Linda Henderson, Michael Henderson and wife (3 Children), also several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
