Services for Sally Foust, 77, of Dickens were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 1999, in Sanders Funeral Home Memorial chapel with the Rev. Jimmy MGuire officiating.Burial was in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died Friday, Aug. 20, 1999, in the Heritage Oaks Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Summer. She was raised in Paris, TX, where she graduated from high school and attended Paris Junior college.
She married Elbert Chance in Paris. He preceded her in death. She married J.W. Foust on Dec. 23, 1975, in Dickens. He preceded her in death in April of 1996. An infant son, Bobby Leon Chance, also preceded her in death. She owned and operated L&S Cafe from 1965 to 1973.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Chance of Mesquite and Gary Chance of Lubbock; three daughters, Jereatta Ann Brannum of Sherman, Lorett Jean McDonald of Mesquite and Patricia Kay Cowan of Lubbock; two stepdaughters, Jo Curry and Donna Foust, both of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
