James Wilson Foust U.S.Flag   CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for J.W. "Jack" Foust, 82, of Dickens will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. John Adams, pastor of Shallowwater First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery.

Foust died Tuesday, April 30, 1996, at Lubbock´s Quaker Villa Nursing Home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1913, in Ames. He married Sally Miller Chance on Dec. 23, 1975, in Dickens. He moved to Dickens from Lubbock in 1976. He attended Dry Lake and Estabeulah schools, and he attended Western College of Auctioneer in Billings, Mont. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was a truck driver for Townsend and Strong Trucking Co., retiring in 1975. A daughter, Judy Smith, died July 10, 1985.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jo Curry and Donna Foust, both of Lubbock; three stepdaughters, Pat Cowan of Lubbock, Jean McDonald of Mesquite and Jereatta Bannum of Dallas; two stepsons, Gary Chance of Lubbock and Larry Chance of Dallas; a brother, Leonard of Crosbyton; two sisters, Lela Fowler and Virginia Ray, both of Crosbyton; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and three great-step grandchildren.
