CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Johnny Forbes, 53, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin officiating.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at his home after a lengthy illness. Justice of the Peace Clyde Davis ruled natural causes in his death.
Forbes was born in Ralls and attended Crosbyton schools. He was a U.S. Marines Corps veteran and owned a construction company. He married Linda Sue Edwards on March 12, 1956, in Crosbyton.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Hope Bales of Lubbock; and a grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Manard Brown, Donald Parker, Jim Barron, Bart Lynch, Jimmy Dunn, Roy Ratheal, Mabry Greenhaw, Les Hargrove, Jackie Hamersley, Dub Griffin, J.W. Foster and Danny Cornelius.
