Services for C.F. Flemins, 86, of Crosbyton were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at Crosbyton Church of Christ with Joe Keyes officiating and Terry Ellison assisting.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002 at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

He was born Jan. 29, 1916, in Cleburne, TX. He married Bonnie Lee Moore Sept. 22, 1934, in Crosbyton.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in Crosbyton and the Crosbyton Masonic Lodge. In 1950, he owned and operated the Broadway Gin. Then, from 1957 to 1971, he owned and operated the Mt. Blanco Gin. He then owned and operated West Texas Backhoe and a fertilizer company in Crosbyton. He worked for Crosbyton Seed Company until his retirement in 1994. He moved to Crosby County in 1917 from Cleburne, TX.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Lee Flemins, of Crosbyton; a son, Wayne Flemins of Idalou; a daughter, Jarita Moses of Crosbyton; four grandchildren, Dee Moses of Lubbock, Debra Pemberton of Brock; Janie Long of Greenwood, and Mike Flemins of Idalou; and six great-grandchildren, Daniel Moses, Bonnie Moses, Brian Pemberton, Amanda Long, Kayla Long, and Zack Long.

The family suggests memorials to White River Youth Camp, P.O. Box 445, Crosbyton, TX 79322.

Bonnie FleminsServices for Bonnie Lee Flemins, 93, of Crosbyton will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Crosbyton Church of Christ with Terry Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Bonnie passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Crosbyton Hospital. She was born March 31, 1917 in Arkansas to the late Charles Henry and Lena (Eades) Moore. On September 22, 1934 she married C. F. Flemins in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2002. A lifelong resident of Crosbyton she was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Survivors include, a son and his wife, Wayne and Donna Flemins of Idalou; a daughter, Jarita Moses of Crosbyton; four grandchildren, Dee Moses and wife Donna of Lubbock, Debra Pemberton and husband Bob of Brock, Janie Long and husband Britt of Greenwood, Mike Flemins of Idalou; six great grandchildren, Daniel Moses, Bonnie Moses, Brian Pemberton and wife Brandee, Amanda Long, Kayla Long and Zack Long.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
