U.S.Flag Funeral services for Willie H. Fira of Crosbyton were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Calvario Mission Bautista Church here by the Rev. R. R. Martinez, pastor. Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home.

Mr. Fira, 79, was a retired farmer.

He died about 4 a.m. last Thursday morning in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

An Oakville native, Fira moved to Crosbyton in 1954 form Donna. He was a veteran of World War I and a Mason.

The former Juanita Rodriquez and Willie H. Fira were married in October, 1940.

Survivors include the widow, Juanita; six sons, Fred and Tony, both of Corpus Christi, Willie Jr., Johnny and Joe Ray, all of Crosbyton, and Eugene of Fort Worth; six daughters, Miss Lillie Fira of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Eliza Guzman of Amarillo, Mrs. Ophelia Cervantes of Dallas, Mrs. Evila Cervantes of Ennis and Mrs. Gloria Pena and Miss Linda Fira, both of Crosbyton; a sister, Mrs. Carmen Ortegia of Rotan; 40 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
