Steve Ferguson photo Steven Ferguson, 63, of Crosbyton went to be with his Lord on April 9, 2014 in Lubbock.

Steven was born September 27, 1950, in Floydada, Texas, to Leanard and Willi Mae Ferguson.

He met the love of his life, Ronee Anderson; they were married January 15, 1994 in Florydada, TX.

Steven worked for the Highway Dept. for 30 plus years. He was past President of the Texas Highway Beautification Award. He retired from the HWY Dept. in 2005. Steven loved to cook and make candy to share with family and friends.

Steven is survived by his wife, Ronee Ferguson of Crosbyton; a daughter, Stacy Gonzales of Shallowater; two sons, Justin Anderson and wife Jennifer of Lubbock, Levi Anderson and wife Amanda of Kempner; three brothers, Larry Ferguson and wife Cathy of Floydada, Tony Ferguson and wife Brenda of Spearman, Robert Ferguson and wife Gayle of Slaton, three grandchildren; Kezia Gonzales, Whitley Anderson, Macy Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Floydada, TX with Rev. Tim Franks. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Memorials are to be sent to the Chorus of Angels at Arrington Cancer Center of Crosbyton Senior Citizens.

Jaynna Ferguson photoOne of God�s most special people, Jaynna Ronee Jenkins Ferguson, 54 years old, of Crosbyton, Texas, left this world on October 2, 2014 and is now free of her earthly body, so she can dance to her heart�s desire! Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday October 7th at Crosbyton Cemetery with Bob Adams officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Ronee was born in Crosbyton on January 21, 1960. She graduated from Crosbyton High School and later received a certification as a Surgical Tech from South Plains College. Ronee was married to the love of her life, Steve Ferguson on January 15, 1994; they were married 20 years. Ronee was employed as a clerk for the City of Crosbyton for 12+ years but prior to that she worked in a variety of different fields including being a teller at Security Bank in Crosbyton, a surgical tech at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, a dispatcher for Crosby County Sherriff�s Office, and a �lunch room lady� for Crosbyton Schools. Ronee thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a confidant for many. Her hobbies included shopping on QVC, gardening, decorating her 100+ year old house for family and the public to enjoy, shopping, traveling, holidays, and most important, her two wonderful sons and family! OHHH did we mention she loved to shop!!!

Ronee is survived by her sons Justin Anderson and wife Jennifer and their daughter Macy; Levi Anderson and wife Amanda and their daughter Whitley and future son Wyatt, and her siblings Roxie and her husband Chris Ivie of Roosevelt, Utah, James Merle �Bubba� Jenkins of Lorenzo, and Ronald and his wife Debbie Jenkins of Post, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronee is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Ferguson, and her parents James and Lora Dean Shehan Jenkins.

The family of Ronee Ferguson wishes to thank the City of Crosbyton and their staff, all the Churches in Crosbyton for their prayers, cards, meals, and support, Nancy Lloyd and Deloris Johnson. We would like to especially thank Joann High for going above and beyond the call of duty. You made Ronee�s last days so much more comical and special with your wonderful personality and sincere caring heart. You are truly an angel from Heaven! In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Chorus of Angels at Arrington Cancer Center.
