CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Cornelia A. Farris, 97, of Crosbyton will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Monday, July 15, 1996, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

She was born May 23, 1899, in Hollis, Okla. She married Roy Houston Farris Sr. in 1917 in Hollis, Okla. He died March 23, 1990. She was a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church, where she was secretary of the adult Sunday school department. She was a member of the Crosbyton Needle Club and the Crosbyton Flower Club.

She was a homemaker. A daughter, Nell Romane, died in 1988.

Survivors include a son, R.H. Jr. of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
